What Happens When You Call

The first few minutes are yours. Give us a picture of the property, the number of units held as affordable, and how far along you are with the Florida Housing Finance Corporation and the county property appraiser. A handful of questions follow about rents, income limits and earlier filings. From there we lay out which steps apply to you, from FHFC certification filing to the county DR-504AFH filing.

We will not promise an approval or a dollar figure on the first call. What we can offer is a free eligibility check and, where the numbers allow, a free savings estimate based on what you share. If it makes sense to continue, we set a time to go through your documents at our office or by video. We keep careful notes of each conversation, so you never have to explain the same thing twice.

What to Have Ready Before You Call

1. The property's address, parcel number and total unit count.
2. A current rent roll showing which units are held for residents at or below the income limits.
3. Any prior FHFC certification, exemption application or letter from the property appraiser.
4. Your filing deadline, if you already know it, so we can tell you how much time there is.
